Instant Pot Cranberry Apple Sauce

If you have a surplus of apples, and a bag of cranberries, fresh or frozen, you can make apple cranberry sauce in a jiffy with an instant pot. Try this simple recipe for a mildly sweet and tart sauce. It makes a great topping over plain yogurt.

Adapted from The Foodie and the Fix

12 oz cranberries
4 apples, chopped (I don't peel them. More fiber!)
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup water

Combine the cranberries, apples, sugar and water in the instant pot and stir. Close the lid and seal. Set the instant pot to manual pressure for 1 minute cooking time. Once the pressure has released, let cool to room temperature and store in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator.
